Ladies Singles Final

After a very tight game of wonderful bowling, Sue Bartels won the title of being our 2024-25 Ladies Singles Champion, with Rhonda Porter a very worthy runner-up

2025 Ladies Novice Championship

This year we were very lucky to have five contenders for this event. The finalists were Verna Creyk, Vicki Tassone, Judy Hirst, Judy Jensen and Janine Clissa. Some brilliant bowls and fighting spirit showed in all games! Well done to all. We are proud to have you in our Club.

Our Novice Champion for the 2024-2025 season is JANINE CLISSA.

Ladies Pairs Final

Congratulations to Di Bryans and Rhonda Porter winning the final with a small margin over Sue Bartels and Judy Fenner. What a close game – with the lead changing a few times!

The Plate event was played between Sandra Malkin and Lizzie Roche v’s Deb McGrade and Franca Squillace. Deb & Franca were the winners.

Well done to all eight players on reaching the finals.

Ladies Fours Final

The nail biting final of the Ladies 4’s Championship was held on 5 December. Congratulations to Judy Fenner, Sue Bartels, Ricki Phillips and Carol Griffiths who won over Kay Collins, Deb McGrade, Terri Piotrowski & Lauri Lawton. It came down to the last end as it was neck-and-neck most of the game. Well done to all eight ladies.

Ladies Triples Final

Congratulations to Mandy Heiner, Ricki Phillips and Jeni Smith who won the Ladies Triples in cold and blustery conditions. The score was so close for most of the game and the win was only decided in the last couple of ends. Well done also to the runners-up Christiane de Bissy, Elaine Sinclair and Franca Squillace.

Ladies Two-Bowl Singles Final

Congratulations to Di Bryans – the winner of the Ladies Two-Bowl Singles final held on 29 August against Marg Parise.
Well done to both ladies on a great game.

Ladies Winter Scroungers Final

The finalists for this event were – Carol Griffiths, Di Bryans and Pat Willans as, unfortunately, Judy Fenner was unavailable to play. The scores were so close during most of the game, but Pat steamed ahead during the last two ends to win the game.

With so many “rained-off” days this winter, we were lucky to get enough games in for a final.
